DeLaval International AB is looking for a Launch Preparation Manager to the Marketing team.

At Marketing we contribute to drive growth and profitability through positioning of the DeLaval brand and well prepared global and local launches of our solutions. With focused channel development and by growing our share of voice in media we deliver marketing that attracts attention and adds value to our customers.

As Launch Preparation Manager within the Marketing team your role will be to secure that colleagues throughout the global marketing network know what solutions are being prepared for launch and when in time they will be ready. With focus on what is important for the customer, you will also stimulate effective use of marketing and training packages for solutions as part of preparations.

Key responsibilities

  • Define together with Business Area which solutions will be ready to launch
  • Take part in creating the Global marketing plan
  • Contribute to effective use of marketing and training packages for solutions with the right sales messages
  • Maintain and improve on the launch and sales process with regular training of colleagues
  • Develop and maintain the Solution Pipeline database (transparent list of solutions)
  • Contribute to reach the targets set for Marketing as part of the team and provide input to improve overall marketing result at DeLaval.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in preparing solutions for global and local launch
  • >3 years experience of working in a global marketing environment
  • University degree, preferably in marketing
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is pre-requisite

Personal characteristics

  • Ability to interact in cross - functional as well as cross - cultural teams
  • Well organized and structured with good planning skills
  • Have very strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate and gain trust in different parts of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and take decisions
  • Have a strong customer focus

The position is placed in Tumba, Sweden and you will be reporting to the Manager Global Marketing Planning. The job demands flexibility and will require some travelling.
