Price Analyst

The pricing support unit maintains and develops the pricing processes for the central entities. This unit is also responsible for managing supervising the general price revisions as well as acting as a competence centre in the pricing area. Some support and competence development is also given to the regional entities.

As Price Analyst you will work in a central unit with development of the pricing process, coordination and control of price revisions and improving the pricing competence throughout the organization. This includes:

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and compile commodity cost development in co-operation with Sourcing and develop reports to display the data in a clear accessible format.
  • Analyse price effects and make simulations
  • Support in co-ordinating the general price revisions
  • Support in development and roll-out of systems and tools for price management and control
  • Coordination of other price adjustments and pricing actions
  • Develop and manage documentation system for price decisions
  • Develop pricing competence training material and run trainings

Pricing support will be given to central product owners as well as the regions. An important objective is to strengthen the pricing competence of the whole organization.

The function will also be actively participating or leading projects in the area of pricing.

The function shall report to the Internal Pricing Manager.

Skills and Experience

  • MBA or Masters level in Economics, or similar education.
  • Experience of work with pricing processes or pricing strategies
  • Analytical approach
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of work in Excel and Access.
  • Experience of SAP is an advantage
  • Commercial interest and understanding
